That year, the Indian U-19 team was crowned champions under the leadership of Yash Dhull. After the World Cup, many Under-19 cricketers are now playing regularly for their national team and they can also make it to the national team for this year’s ODI World Cup 2023. a) Matheesha Pathirana

b) Dunith Wellalage

Young cricketer Dunith Wellag led Sri Lanka in the 2022 Under-19 World Cup. Then he made his debut for the national team. So far, Dunith Wellage has scored 109 runs in 9 matches for the Sri Lankan national team. He is also an important left-arm spinner. The young batsman could come to India for Sri Lanka in this year’s World Cup.

c) Noor Ahmad

Noor Ahmed was an important part of the Afghanistan team in the 2022 Under-19 World Cup. Since then, the young cricketer has played 3 ODIs and 1 T20 match for Afghanistan in the national team. Noor Ahmed also has a lot of experience in the IPL. Noor took 16 wickets in 13 matches in this tournament. He could get a place in South Africa’s squad for this year’s World Cup.
