Not a single corner of the gallery is probably empty today. India won the toss and elected to bowl first. Pakistan got off to a good start, but Team India restricted them to 191 runs due to the dominance of Siraj-Bumrah-Kuldeep. The target of 192 runs on paper is not huge, but the Team India fans wanted India to play with the opposition at the break of the innings.

Despite losing 2 wickets for 73 runs, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan shared an 82-run partnership. Babar Azam left the field for a personal 50, while Rizwan was dismissed for 49 shortly thereafter. Shubman started the innings on a high but returned after scoring 16 runs. But even today, Rohit kept one end of the crease. After Shubman’s dismissal, Virat Kohli came to join Rohit.
Rohit was scoring runs at a brisk pace on one side, while Virat was trying to play at the crease on the other. But due to a wrong shot, Virat had to go out of the field even though he was in rhythm. This time Shreyas Iyer (Shreyas Iyer) came with the bat. As soon as he came, he took the team forward very quickly with Rohit. Meanwhile, Rohit completed his half-century in just 36 balls.
