Asian Games 2023, IND vs BAN: The semi-finals of the men’s cricket tournament will be held in Hangzhou, China on October 6. In the first semi-final, qualified India and Bangladesh (India vs Bangladesh Match) faced each other. India defeated Nepal by 23 runs in the quarter-finals, but Bangladesh struggled to beat Malaysia. Blue Brigade won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Parvez Hossain Emon and Mahmudul Hasan Joy came to open for Bangladesh. Parvez scored 23 runs off 32 balls but Mahmudul was dismissed for just 5 runs. Then captain Saif Hassan (Saif Hassan) left the field for just 1 run. From the beginning, the Indian bowlers kept the Tigers under pressure. Sai Kishore becomes destructive with the ball. He took three crucial wickets for just 12 runs in his four overs. Washington Sundar also took two crucial wickets for 15 runs in 4 overs.
Even Tilak Verma bowled just two overs and took one crucial wicket. Under pressure, Bangladesh wicket-keeper Zaker Ali scored 24 off 29 balls, but the Tigers scored only 96 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs. After that, when the Indian team came to bat, the batsmen showed their skills. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal’s dismissal for zero gave the Blue Brigade the first blow. Ripon Mondal (Ripon Mondol) took this important wicket for Bangladesh.

The Blue Brigade did not have to look back after that Ruturaj Gaikwad and Tilak Verma batted destructively to ensure India’s victory in just 9.2 overs. Ruturaj remained unbeaten on 40 off just 26 balls with three sixes and four fours. On the other hand, Tilak Verma smashed six sixes and two fours off 26 balls to deliver an unbeaten knock of 55. As a result, India won by 9 wickets against Bangladesh in the important semi-final. Pakistan will face Afghanistan in the second semi-final today.
